Do you guys know whats the best and cheapest power supply to get if i'm going to use a gtx460?
My computer specs
HP Pavilion p6310y
Processor AMD Athlon II X4 630 / 2.8 GHz
RAM Installed Size 6 GB
Oh yeah one other thing, i only have enough money to get a $50 Power supply.|||Corsair is a good brand name. Their Builder series is not as good as the Enthusiast series, but it's about the best you'll do with your budget. You need two 6-pin PCI-E power connectors for the GTX460.|||How about $45 after $20 MIR? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…
Inexpensive power supplies can't deliver their rated wattage for more than a few seconds. Good power supplies (the kind that gamers use) can deliver 100% of their rating continuously. The OCZ Fata1ity 550W has enough power and the correct power cables to run your video card. I'd prefer a better Seasonic or Corsair branded power supply, but the OCZ seems to deliver the goods at the best price. It's what I'm using in my secondary desktop after I discovered the original 500W power supply couldn't keep the 12V rails at anywhere near 12V.
