GTX260 sli vs GTX460?

I can get a GTX260 for $100 or buy 2 for sli for $200.

A single gtx460 would cost me $200.

Which option would be the best in efficiency/speed?

Flight Simulator X will be the main use and possibly crysis 2.|||newer gamer laptops tend to come with a SINGLE GTX460 whereas only a year ago (GTX200 series) SLI was the rule;

seems that meanwhile the performance gain of 2 video cards is outweighed by the heat development (?)

personally i use two 8800m GTX (in SLI) for FSX @ WUXGA (1920x1200) and reach 30 to 40 fps.

thus even a single GTX260, leave alone a 460 should easily outpace that (which is more then enough, as far as FSX is concerned)

my experience is that SLI comes with a lot of if & then and not every game handles it equally well.

if you can spare yourself the potential trouble & get comparable performance with a single card, i'd go w/ the single card.|||due to SLI scaling issues and the more modern GPU I would say that the GTX 460 would be your better bet.
