Is the much difference between a geforce gtx460?

I found there are two versions of the gtx460

one a 768mb

and the other is 1gb|||At lower resolutions like 1680x1050 the difference is small (around 10% faster) but at high resolutions the 1gb model performs much better - not because of the memory, but because the 768mb models are only 192-bit and have a smaller frame buffer than 1gb models, which are 256-bit.
