How do I fix no video out put on a desk top first build computer?

I have an atx ASUS p8p67 ws revolution motherboard and a ASUS gtx460 top 1GB video card. I am not getting any video out put. What can I do to find the problem?|||Well I would suggest you to take apart your pc out of your case and then run it" "benchtest" Most likely is that the risers are installed improperly or you used the wrong screws for the motheboard creating a short making it unable to boot. Trust me on my first build it took me the whole day to figure that out and it pissed me off quite a bit.
